If it didn’t have to be pretty

If it didn’t have to be pretty, what would you create?

Blank Canvases

I was very happy to find that one of the traveling art journals has made it into my mailbox. This one is from Indiana and the theme is “Happiness is…”

Since it was a nice day today, I took some of the kids outside and let them take some photos of our soon-to-be butterfly garden at the school. It’s a little sparse right now, but we’ll have it fixed up in no time.

PS:  Computer is being super slow today, so I just got the one photo of the garden up :/

Hi. :)

Well hello!  I’ve been doing this blogging thing on and off again for some time now.  I’m getting back on it these days because I have so many cool projects in the works and I think it will be lots of fun to share them all!

Here are some of the things I’m working on:

  • Traveling Art Journals, with my facebook group. We are a group of 19 ladies across the US, Canada, and beyond that is circling our art journals among us, making pages for each other, and passing them along to the next. It’s super fun and has been an amazing experience.
  • I signed up for the Sketchbook Project  2013. Have you??
  • School’s almost out and it wouldn’t be summer with out some summer art projects for the kids.  This year we are working in the school’s butterfly garden. We’ll be doing lots of butterfly hunting, planting, weeding, composting, upcycling and having fun!!
  • I also plan to kick off my summer with a massive amount of painting and art journaling, which I will be sharing here, of course 🙂

Stop by some time and say hi! Thanks for visiting!
